A multi-faceted banker, professor, and activist—or, as his close associates call him, a "Grounded Humanist Explorer"—Arnaud Leclercq has spent three decades traveling across Eurasia, the Middle East, and Africa.
Currently Non-Executive Chairman of an asset management firm in the Gulf, and formerly a Limited Partner and Executive Committee member of a Swiss private bank, author, investor, professor of geopolitics... he is also deeply committed to preserving Breton heritage and defending the rights of rural landowners. He also takes an active role in strategic foresight, contributing to the vision of a forward-looking Brittany.
He holds an MBA from HEC Paris, is an alumnus of Harvard Business School, and earned a degree in Private Law from Paris II University. A former student of the Paris Doctoral School of Geography, he earned his PhD from Paris I Sorbonne with highest honors; his doctoral thesis was published in 2013.
Since 2014, he has taught the Global Geopolitics course for the HEC Paris MBA, titled "Geopolitical Shifts & Global Consequences," and his insights are frequently sought after by international media.
